The site was started in about 1998 to be a place to document the restoration of a Civic. (formerly known as firstgenofdurham@rogers.com) November 12th 2003 the site was moved to where we are now, later in mid 2005 members from civic1200.com migrated over here after the decline of that site. January 23 2007 moved again to a new host and also known as 1stgencivic.org, Since then we have grown in leaps and bounds, We host events and provide a web forum for members to interact in a social environment. We also share information on our cars, enjoy driving in social street cruises. We pride ourselves in being a mature club and we do not condone or promote street racing or aggressive driving.
Our membership has grown over the years and our strength as a group has allowed us to get exposure to the web and magazines. Our affiliates have a good reputation with members for fair service and good prices. Members themselves have been the sites best asset and many are willing to help out others whenever they can.
There is no special requirements to join. All first generations of Hondas and Second generation Civics' are welcome and you don't need to have a modified car to be accepted. Most members have stock or relatively stock cars.
