There are a few of us up here in Auckland ( 3 so far) wanting some aftermarket springs ( lower and stiffer) for our street cars. I was just wondering if anyone else in NZ would be interested in getting some? There aren't any places that stock them, but I'm hoping if we get enough people together, the price should be ok for getting a bunch made.

Could be keen depending on brand and price etc. What are they most likely going to cost?

I'm not to sure yet. My race car ones were Kings and cost $100 a corner. I'd like to get these sets for less than that. I'm going to try and work out approx numbers first, then I'm going to approach snells and stocks, or maybe whiteline in oz ( depends on their prices, as I'd also be keen for another swaybar)

Matt, I'd be interested if the price was right, but what about shocks (captiveness)

Definately want to sort out a source of shocks if you are putting stiffer springs in.

When www.partsco.co.nz was still a proper site they listed 1st gen struts, might pay to give them a ring, they were always very helpful.

I can't imagine getting custom wound springs is going to be much cheaper than $100 a corner, thats really not bad for a custom spring.
