| Hi Guys - I have a 1978 Civic which we have had for about 15 years now and I am looking to restore it back to original - I need a few parts to make it A1 - I am looking for the rubber gasket around the rear light cluster and the little plastic piece from the drivers door lock to complete - |

Welcome, you will find a small but enthusiastic UK contingent on here.
Personally can't help re: spares.
The little black bit to which you refer is I believe what we call a door silencer.
There are various fixes, from cutting up plastic boxes to re-manufacture. This has not yet yielded results, but 2 or 3 avenues across the world and in the Uk are under investigation. |

Welcome to the site!
It's nice to see that you're restoring it back to original.
Can't wait to see some pictures. |

If I read this right then I'm afraid you are about to be owned. I swear by those bits of plastic you get on the ends of shelves. a couple of bits cut from one of them got me through many an MOT on the rear right door. I almost felt sorry when I replaced it with a 'proper' piece.
Welcome to the board newbie. |
