Whip antennas on those little Civics - you'll look like a bunch of bumper cars driving around. |

Sue
Went on a rally once as course car 2.
That meant that I had radios for talking to:-
Control
course car 1
C.B.
Mobile phone
plus Standard radio fit
We had 4 magmounts in a row, the car was thereafter always called the hedgehog
And the gaggle of 2 litre works replica Escorts complained that the timing was tight . It was calculated by taking 2 seconds a mile off my times .
And one of them, in response to our explanation of the car at the start said he would give us 10 secs amile and still beat us, then had the temerity to complain officially about the times.
If we had been entered, we would have finished 3rd overall
Our spec?
EN4,
dell'Ortos
2" exhaust
Konis
1.5 negative camber
6" alloys
185/60 tyres
5 speed (never used it on competetive sections)
Happy days in 1986

I see that the "old honda" stand was "featured" in this months retro cars magazine report on retromania along with eds acty pickup truck.
Only small pics but nice just the same, simons, prelude in the forefront with mine and mikes in the background |

Let's hope we can get some better coverage this time!
With a spot of luck Doc. Savage will be at your disposal. |
