QSK, QSK
Are we all getting rigs for JAE, then?
Who has what?
I'm starting from a blank sheet.
Is that a 4? |

| I've got a copy of the CB'ers Bible, but I'm new to this malarky. Going to need a few pointers on antennae & whatnot. |

Its all straight forward, the most important thing is matching the whip and cord to the set. This is done with and SWR meter and its instructions;-) Once its all set up you remove the SWR and your off.
I would really recommend that you consider a booster as the standard 4watts (i think?) is not the best.
You want to mount your whipp as high as possible ideally, roof magnets work well even with cloth under them. I had success mounting my ariel on the bumper of my patrol. Ill hunt a pic out.
We used the car as base and had hand helds when out and about.. it was a sweet set up when on Fraser Island fishing! |

Okay, once again I need to apologise about the under-exposed pics.
Bloody new-fangled gadgetry.........
Audioline 341 in place with hump-mount transceiver holder.
Sadly, it doesn't like the Amstrad.
The Audioline is a pretty spanky piece of kit and the Krikette just looks so right. |

1-4 for a toffee
how you gonna change channels on the go?
Especially as you won't have any fingers after James Taylor (You've got a friend!!!??) has ejected whilst shifting gears. |

That's right, Amstrad's a no-go. |
